2. How do I book ski lessons or snowboard lessons in Bansko?
Booking is easy! You can reserve your ski or snowboard lessons online before arriving in Bansko. This ensures availability during the busy season and gives you access to our best rates. Simply choose your package, select your preferred dates, and receive a booking confirmation to present at the ski school.
3. Where is the meeting point for ski lessons?
All ski lessons begin at the designated meeting point at the top of the gondola lift (Banderishka meadow). Please arrive at least 15 minutes early with your lift pass and any equipment rented from us.
4. What options are available for children’s ski lessons?
We offer specialized ski and snowboard lessons for children, led by professional instructors who make learning fun and safe. Our kids’ lessons include options for group classes or private instruction, depending on your preference.
5. Do you provide ski equipment rentals in Bansko?
Yes, we offer a full range of ski and snowboard equipment for rent, including skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets. Our rental equipment is maintained regularly to ensure safety and quality, featuring top brands that cater to all skill levels.
6. Can I switch between skiing and snowboarding?
Some of our flexible packages allow you to switch between ski and snowboard equipment daily. However, if you are enrolled in group lessons, this option might be limited to avoid disrupting class progress.
7. What languages do your instructors speak?
Our experienced instructors speak English, and many also speak Russian and Hebrew. If you need instruction in another language, let us know during booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
8. What is included in the lift pass?
Our lift passes include access to Bansko’s ski slopes and mountain insurance, which covers basic on-mountain assistance. We recommend purchasing additional winter sports insurance for more comprehensive coverage. You can buy the ski pass next to our shop.
9. What are the lesson timings, and how long do they last?
Group lessons typically run in 2-hour or 4-hour sessions, with start times in the morning or afternoon to suit your schedule. Private lessons are available with flexible timing options for more personalized attention. Our schedule is from 9:00 to 11:00, 11:00 to 13:00, 13:30 to 15:30
10. Can I reserve ski clothes in advance?
While ski clothing rentals (such as jackets and pants) are available in Bansko, we recommend booking essential items in advance to secure the right sizes. Gloves, thermal wear, and socks are generally not available for rent due to hygiene, but you can buy them in Decatlon Sofia, or local shops in Bansko.
11.What happens if I arrive late for my lesson?
if the instructor doesn't have another lesson immediately after yours, they may be able to offer additional time to compensate for your delay. However, this depends on availability, so we recommend arriving on time to make the most of your lesson.
12.How can i pay for the lessons?
You can pay the lessons before it starts with debit card or cash.
